Spillfix Organic Absorbent Now Available to Consumers Through The JEG’S Catalog and Website

CARY, N.C. – January 20, 2016 – American Green Ventures, (US) Inc. announced today that its SpillFix® Organic Absorbent is now available to consumers through the JEGS catalog and website. Made of 100 percent renewable organic material, SpillFix instantly absorbs hazardous liquid spills on contact including oils, fuels, solvents, paints and chemicals, enabling faster, cleaner, safer and more effective clean up with minimal downtime. Until now, the revolutionary spill absorbent has been available only to industrial users. Consumers will now have a safe product not only for oil spills in their garage, but grease in the kitchen, disposing of unused paint, and even cleaning off their messy tools and hands.

“JEGS is one of the nation’s largest online catalog distributors of automotive equipment, and we’re proud to be partnering with them to make SpillFix available to everyone,” said R. John Smith, CEO of American Green Ventures. “All consumers can now safely clean everyday spills, large and small, in half the time using 80 percent less product than silica-based clay products.”

For three decades, consumers and industries had no spill solutions that were quick, cost-effective and safe for humans and the environment. SpillFix answered that need, providing a 100 percent organic, lightweight, dust-free, non-carcinogenic and non-abrasive solution. Made from a byproduct of coconut coir, it instantly absorbs all types of hazardous and non-hazardous liquid spills. It can be reused over and over and disposed of in landfills without creating an environmental hazard.

SpillFix is now available to consumers through JEGS in a three quart jar (absorbent capacity 2 quarts), a seven pound bag (absorbent capacity 2 gallons), and a twenty pound bag (absorbent capacity 7 gallons). JEGS offers 24/7 tech support and free shipping and handling. JEGS has SpillFix products in stock and offers same day shipping and can be ordered up to 11 p.m. Eastern. Orders can be completed by calling JEGS at (800)345-4545 or online at www.jegs.com/p/SpillFix/SpillFix-Organic-Absorbent/3542433/10002/-1.

CARY, N.C. – October 30, 2015 – American Green Ventures, (US) Inc. will exhibit and demonstrate the revolutionary SpillFix® Industrial Organic Absorbent during the Clean Gulf 2015 trade show at booth #653. The event will be held at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans from Tuesday, November 10 through Thursday, November 12. Clean Gulf covers spill preparedness and response topics for the exploration, production, transportation, and storage of oil and hazardous materials.

SpillFix is made from a bi-product of the coconut (coir), which contains no chemicals and is silica free. “SpillFix is completely changing the way oil and gas companies are handling spills,” said David J. Roache, CEO of Galuku Group North America, the parent company of American Green Ventures. “SpillFix is lightweight, absorbent, and healthier for workers than clay-based absorbents because it is made from coir, a renewable resource from coconut husks. We invite Clean Gulf attendees to stop by booth #653 to see a short demonstration.”

American Green Ventures Selects New Concepts Inc. As Its Spillfix Distributor For Steel Producers

New Concepts Inc. is a supplier of metals and raw materials to North American steel producers

CARY, N.C. – August 3, 2015 – American Green Ventures, (US) Inc. is pleased to announce that it selected New Concepts Inc. as its distributor for SpillFix® Industrial Organic Absorbent to steel producers. SpillFix is made of 100 percent renewable organic material and instantly absorbs hazardous liquid spills on contact including oils, fuels, solvents, paints and chemicals, enabling faster, cleaner, safer and more effective clean up with minimal downtime. New Concepts has been a supplier of metals and raw material to North American steel producers for more than 15 years.

“When I saw a demonstration of SpillFix, I was truly impressed by its ability to make oil disappear,” said Sudarshan R. Sathe, president of New Concepts. “Conventional absorbents are clay-based and are impermeable to oil; they merely cover up the oil spill before it can be picked up with a shovel. SpillFix, however, has a capillary action that actually absorbs the oil, making it far superior to clay absorbents.”

SpillFix is made from a bi-product of the coconut (coir), which is an organic, renewable resource that is non-carcinogenic, contains no chemicals and is silica free. When compared to clay-based absorbents, SpillFix clients need 80 percent less product to clean up spills in less than half the time. SpillFix is made from a bi-product of the coconut (coir), which is an organic, renewable resource that is non-carcinogenic, contains no chemicals and is silica free. When compared to clay-based absorbents, SpillFix clients need 80 percent less product to clean up spills in less than half the time. SpillFix is dust-free, non-abrasive and there is no after residue often left with heavy sticky clay or absorbent pads. SpillFix can be reused to clean up more than one spill due to its superior absorbency, further adding to its cost savings. SpillFix is also landfill safe, providing lower disposal cost than other absorbent products with no environmental impact.
